Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has conducted Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry i.e JELET on 11the June of 2017. This is the exam for admission to direct 2nd-year Bachelor degree in engineering and pharmacy(except architecture) courses in various Govt. and Private Colleges of West BengalHere you can find Jelet 2017 question paper which was held on 11th June 2017. Jelet 2016 was held on computer based while Jelet 2017 was a written pen paper mode exam.
Jelet Eligibility:
- The minimum qualification for Jelet is Diploma in engineering and technology or pharmacy with 45% marks from an Institute approved by AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education).
- Passed B.Sc degree from a UGC recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved categories) and pass 10+2 with Mathematics.
Jelet question pattern:
- All questions are MCQ( Multiple Choice Questions) types and every question has four options including one correct answer. There are total 100 questions and each questions carrying one marks.
- There is negative marking for each incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.
- If you don't attempt a question no mark will be deducted. You will be rewarded zero.
- Answers are to be marked by black or blue ball point pen.
- One separate question paper has been set for basic Engineering and Technology section and one is for Pharmacy section.
